Prove it’s yours.Keep it private.
IPME fingerprints your work in your browser and records a timestamped proof on the Base blockchain. The file never leaves your device, and anyone can check the proof — with or without us.

How it works
Three steps. About a minute.
- 01
Choose your file
Any format up to 2 GB. It is fingerprinted (SHA-256) right in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
- 02
We record the proof
IPME writes a salted commitment of the fingerprint to Base, timestamped by the blockchain itself.
- 03
Keep your certificate
Download a PDF with everything needed to verify the proof later — even without IPME.
Why IPME
Built for people who make things
Strong evidence that your work existed, without handing it to anyone.
Your file never leaves your device
Hashing happens locally, so there is nothing to upload, leak or lose. IPME only ever sees a 64-character fingerprint.

Private on-chain proof
The blockchain holds only a salted commitment. It reveals neither your work nor that you registered it.
Verifiable by anyone
Clients, collaborators or a court can check a certificate straight against Base, with no IPME account.
Share a link
Send a time-limited link so others can check a file against your registration.
No crypto needed
Sign up with email. IPME runs your wallet and pays the network fees.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Still have a question?
Is my file uploaded?
No. Your browser computes the file’s SHA-256 fingerprint and only that is sent. On the blockchain even the fingerprint is hidden inside a salted commitment.
What does a certificate prove?
That this exact file existed at the recorded time and was registered by you. Change a single byte and the fingerprint no longer matches.
Will it hold up as evidence?
It is a tamper-evident timestamp that anyone can verify independently. Under the EU’s eIDAS rules an electronic timestamp can’t be dismissed just for being electronic; qualified eIDAS timestamps are planned for paid plans.
What do I need to keep?
The original file, unchanged, and your PDF certificate. Together they let anyone verify the proof — even without IPME.
How should I store my registered files?
IPME never has a copy of your file, so the proof depends on the one you keep. A simple routine:
- Make one folder for registered work, with a subfolder per project and per month — for example IPME › Client X › 2026-10 — and use the same folders in your IPME portfolio.
- Save the PDF certificate next to the file it proves, under a matching name.
- Treat that copy as an archive: work on a duplicate and make the original read-only (Windows: Properties › Read-only; Mac: Get Info › Locked). Opening and re-saving can change a file even when it looks the same; renaming or moving it is fine.
- Back it up in at least two places, such as an external drive and a cloud drive. Avoid apps that compress or convert files on the way, like photo sharing in messaging apps.
- Changed the work? Register the new version too — each version gets its own proof.
- Now and then, check the file on IPME’s Verify page: it tells you whether it still matches its proof.
Do I need crypto or a wallet?
No. You sign up with email; IPME creates and runs a wallet for you and pays the network fees.
Do paid plans renew automatically?
No. Paid plans are paid up front in KAI-X and simply end with their period, after which you are back on the Free plan.
What file types are supported?
Any file up to 2 GB: documents, images, audio, video, source code, archives and more.
